What I outline in the strategy articles on the site is (to the best of my ability) researched from as wide a reading base as I can find and confirmed by my own limited experience of the game. What little I know about poker has come a little at a time through many hours of play and many hours of reading which have occassionally revealed important concepts. I read someone say once that if, when he read a book, he learned one important lesson from it then it was worth the investment. That has certainly been my experience. That sometimes reading about or discussing poker has caused a key concept to finally click in my mind and I finally understand something that I'd been hearing for years. What I have found since I discovered Pot Limit Omaha is a fantastic game that just isn't talked about enough. This site is intended to contribute to that discussion. In the future, I would like very much to incorporate articles by others and perhaps to extend the content of Chips in the Middle to cover other poker variants. The obvious next step would be Omaha 8 or better. We'll see how it goes.
